Envision Eugene in the year 2030.  Envision your neighborhood, home, job, school, and your favorite parks and shops – and how you will get there.

Our community is starting a conversation about how we will grow and change over the next 20 years.   We expect 35,000 more people will call Eugene home by then. Use this website to learn more about the plan and your part in creating it!

Mulkey Cemetery We’re looking at a great lineup for Memorial Day’s Cremation Garden Dedication this year!

The festivities begin at 1 p.m., with violin music from Morgan Denny — many of you have heard Morgan up in the cemetery practicing, over the last couple of years, and we’ve invited her to come start things off. Then Rev. Rebecca Ha...zen, who’s led our Easter service for the last two years, will offer an invocation, and we’ll have the traditional flag raising with the Coopers.

Linda will offer a few words of welcome, and then Churchill Area Neighborhood Association (CAN) Chair, Thomas Price, will address us — CAN has supported the cemetery through the City of Eugene’s Neighborhood Matching Grants program, and we appreciate how our neighborhood association continues to work with us.

Finally, the Hammered Brass Quintet will be performing. Those of you who were at the cemetery for their Memorial Day performance a couple of years ago will remember what a magical afternoon that was. I know I’m looking forward to the repeat performance.

It's Carnival Day, rain or shine!  Bring your family out and enjoy good food, games, amazing carnival baskets and more.  This year the Carnival features new games, clowns and a balloon artist!  Food begins serving at 5:30 and the Carnival lasts until 8:00.  Hope to see you here!

The annual McCornack carnival is Friday, June 4th from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.  There will be food, games, raffle, clowns, balloon artist, dunk tanks, and giant slide.  Tickets for the games and food are 3 for $1 and we are raffling off classroom baskets and those tickets are $1 each.  It’s a great community event.

If you are following our web page you probably have noticed that there is not a CAN meeting posted again this month. We are still encouraging all Churchill Area Neighbors to take part in the Envision Eugene Public Workshop #3

Looking forward to seeing everyone there tonight at 6 pm.

See what you CAN do. You will be amazed what we CAN do together.
