Six UO students, through the Environmental Leadership Program, have spent the spring volunteering with the wetland education program. They will help families answer questions like, "Why are wetlands important?" "How does pollination work?" and "Why are some plants considered weeds?" These are just some of the questions that will be answered through a series of 45 minute-long activities and games for kids of all ages and their parents. Participants can join in as many activities as they would like. For a schedule of programs & registration call Holly McRae at 683-6494.
